A Case Study on the Meaning of Fairy tales in Sand play Therapy Process

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the practical application of fairy tales in individual sand play therapy process. The subject was an emotionally unstable 36-year-old woman who had severly struggled with her children. Her sister died in certain traffic contingency just in front of the 8-year-old client. The Fairy tales and stories in a total of 17 session of sand play therapy served a powerful opportunity for client to give the deepest regret, seek after the Self, and widen the belt of sympathy with counsellor. This study showed that the role of fairy tales in sand play therapy process was really
alive and colorful.
